The Brony Thank You Fund is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity. All donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
A meeting of the board of directors was held via Skype on Wednesday, May 15th, 2013 at 9PM. Attending were Sabrina Alberghetti, Monica Carlino and James Turner.
Prior notice having been given as per the bylaws, Mr. Turner moved to amend the bylaws as follows:
Article II, Section 1. Amend by replacing the number 5 with 6, so that it shall read:
Section 1. Number of Directors. The corporation shall be managed by a Board of Directors consisting of 6 director(s).
The motion was seconded, and there being no discussion, was unanimously adopted.
Mr. Turner then moved to appoint Andrew Schwartz to the board of directors. The motion was seconded, and adopted unanimously without debate.
Finally, Mr. Turner reported that $2,650 dollars had been received as partial payout from the Las Pegasus Unicon Charity auction. He moved that $2,000 of the funds be donated to the College View School, as that had been the original designated charity for the auction, and that $650 be kept by the Fund as partial payment for the poster that had been auctioned there, plus an overpayment made from the Fund to College View during the LPU Relief auction. The motion was seconded and approved unanimously.
The meeting was then adjorned.
